Question: Would God exist without Man? Answer: I believe He does. What then is Man's Role as Related to God? What might be Man’s role in relation to God and God’s unknown final Plan? We are only one of the many life forms on this planet. We may well be God’s experiment with intelligence. The simple answer is that probably we humans are simply just another species, one of God’s many animal experiments, and He’ll see how we turn out. As species go, humans are very young, perhaps one and a half million years young. The dinosaurs lasted hundreds of millions of years. They were a very successful form of life. May we do as well. How does it feel to know that you may only be an experimental animal in a very large laboratory? Think about it. God is very patient. Why are we here? It could be an accident. It could be the result of random chance. It could simply be that our ancestors were lucky, mean, tough, bred early and often and they survived. It could be that God enjoys a good joke from time to time. We’re it. I choose to believe that God has a Plan for us. I assume it. Does God have a role for Man? Yes. I believe so. If He didn’t, we wouldn’t be here. We need only observe how God treats all the other species on the planet, and expect the same treatment. I don’t know anything except the observable facts. Does God have a role for a rabbit? Yes, a rabbit is expected to breathe, eat, drink, sleep, live as long as possible by escaping its enemies that want to eat it, and have sex on a regular and frequent basis. A rabbit is expected to teach baby bunnies how to survive. At the end of its life it dies. Does God help bunnies? He has done all He is going to do for baby rabbits on the day they are born. Why should our role as humans be any different? He has done all He is going to do for baby humans on the day they are born. I believe God does have one task for us that is special to the human race. Our task is to share our knowledge acquired from living experiences with God, but I could be wrong. Maybe other animals and even plants report to God with their experiences of life, as well. (Genesis 9:14-15)

George Wallace completed an MA and taught in the public schools for 28 years. He recently published a book on religion which lashes out at nearly all of the comfortable ideas about God, the trappings of organized religion, the excessive layers of money sucking priesthood, and their departures from the fundamental ideas and messages of Religion. His pithy comments and suggestions for a return to a God-centered personal religion are sure to outrage everyone. www.OhGodIsThatYou.com
